Self-Registration Guide – New Member Portal. (Effective 07/05/2023)
These are the steps needed to be taken for Self-Registration on the new Member Portal/I-Site website.
Go to www.pibf.org and click on the “Members Login” button in the upper right corner.
Once you are on the Login page, below the “Log into your account” button, you will see an option saying, “Create Account” You will want to click that if you have not already set up your account.
Once you have clicked that, you will be taken to the next page asking if you are Setting up a Participant or Dependent account. The member will select “Set Up a Participant Account”, and all dependents will select the second option, which is, ”Set Up a Dependent Account”.
The first portion of this will cover the Participants portion; if you need help with the dependents portion, please skip to next section.
Once you have selected the Participant option, you will be taken to a page with a few fields to fill out. This is to ensure your information is correct.
You must provide your Last name, UID# (803#) and birth date.
Next you will enter your email address (this will be your new user name), and re-enter your email address. You will also have to create a password and security question for your account. The requirements for both will be listed as you fill out that portion of the page. Once that is all filled out, you can click the “Register for Access” button. Doing this will send a registration code to your Email inbox that you selected.
Do not close out of the window just yet; you will need to enter a verification code in a further step.
Once you receive that code, you will want to return to the other web page where you filled out the information for your account.
In the top right, you should see a button that says “Activate”. This will take you to the next page, where you will Type in your Username (This is the email you entered earlier to register), The password you created, and finally, the activation code that was sent to you via email.
After all that has been entered, you will want to hit the “Submit” button. Once it has been submitted and no error messages have popped up, you are free to return to the login page and sign into your account.
This portion will cover the Dependent Registration access.
The dependent of the member will be able to make their own access so they can view their claims.
Once you have selected the Dependent button, you will be taken to a page where you will need to fill in some information to help identify you.
You will need to provide the UID# (803#) of the Participant you are a dependent of, then you will need to provide your last name, your SSN#, birthdate, and provide your primary email address (This will be your Username).
You will also have to create a password and security question for your account. Both requirements will be listed as you fill out that portion of the page.
Do not close out of the window just yet; you will need to enter a verification code in a further step.

How to log in to the Member Portal.
How to add the PIBF Member Portal Shortcut to your mobile device.
1. On your phone or another mobile device, using the Browser of your choice, go to the PIBF website, www.pibf.org.
2. In the top right-hand corner, there is a button that says, “Members Login”, Click on this button and log in.
3. Once that page loads, in the top right-hand corner, you will have a pop-up with instructions on how to add the shortcut to your home screen,
(see the following steps to walk you through this process).
4. Click the share button that is in the right top corner or lower portion of your phone, depending on your phone version. This button looks like a square with an arrow pointing up from it.
5. A menu tab will show a few different options. The one you will want to select says “add to home screen” once you click that, it will now be on your home screen with your apps.
6. The shortcut will have an Image with our logo with “PIBF” below it.
Disclaimer * if you do not see the pop-up, you may want to check your settings on your phone. First, go to settings and click on the Safari icon, you should see a box that says “block pop-ups” make sure that is turned off. You will also need to make sure it is not opening it as a Desktop site. The settings to turn that off are under the same Safari Settings tab.
If you are using android, these settings will be found in the browser of choice you are using, normally there are three dots in the top right corner that will bring you to the settings page*
How to change your address in the Member Portal.
1. From the website, www.pibf.org, click on “Members Login” and log in to the member portal.
2. Once on the dashboard, you will see a menu Bar and will select the “Forms” Tab. A dropdown menu with an option for “Change of Address form” will display, Click that option.
3. You will be redirected to a page called “Update Contact Information” that will let you submit an address change.
4. On this page, enter your Address, Primary phone number, and Email address, check the box certifying the information is correct, and click “Submit Form”.
NOTE: Please allow 1-2 business days for the address change to reflect on the Member Portal.
