The Fund has been a partnership between the union that represents our working Members and the fair contractors who hire them.

From the beginning, it has been a true “win/win” – providing well-earned benefits and long-term security to working men and women and their families, while giving the industry and its fair contractors a way of attracting and retaining the skills, experience and dedication of welding professionals.

Our Partnership With You

At PIBF, we’re working to make sure our Members get the best possible value in health care services and retirement benefits, with maximum efficiency and hassle-free convenience.

We’re also working to ensure easy, trouble-free interaction with our fair contractors.

If you’re one of those contractors, we’d like you to think of us as partner you can count on to address and resolve any issues that may arise – quickly and efficiently – wherever we can improve our service to Members or contractors, or help strengthen the industry of which we are all a part.

We also rely on our fair contractors to carry out their part of the partnership – helping to keep track of hours worked by our Members and the money deducted from their wages to support the Fund, 401-K plans and the Members’ Union.
